For the vodka drinker: Our/New York is a no brainer. For the bartender in your life: St. George is all-natural, American made, and one of a kind. Using copper stills made in an old aviation hangar, they only release spirits that uphold the standards of the brand. If one year they don’t have the quality ingredients to continue producing, they will discontinue it. With four types of gin, three vodkas, absinthe, whiskeys, brandies, & liqueurs, they have something for every taste palate. For the tequila lover: We imagine everyone has heard of this exemplary brand, and for those who truly know and love Patron, gift them a bottle from Patron’s Roca or Gran line.

Spanish for “rock”, Roca Patron has gone back to its roots with this intense way of creating tequila: by using a two-ton volcanic tahona rock wheel to crush the matured blue agave plant. This hand-crafted technique results in a smooth yet complex taste that you won’t find in any other tequila. The Anejo is aged in used American Oak Barrels for about 14 months, which results in an oaky, velvety smooth finish that any whiskey drinker will also enjoy.

The Gran Patron line includes one of the newest editions, Smoky, which has similarities to a mezcal which is a result of roasting the agave in an underground pit. The Platinum is triple distilled for an ultra-smooth finish. If you can find it, some stores may still have the limited-edition Estate Release which uses agave from the Hacienda Patron Distillery. For the bourbon drinker: We imagine if you’re a bourbon lover, you’re already familiar with the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby. But have you tried all the marks they have to offer? The newest is their Wheat Whiskey, but for variety you can also opt for the Malt, Rye, and Double Oaked. You may even be able to find gift sets that include Jack Daniel’s big brother Gentleman Jack or Jack Single Barrel.
