New Products Coming to You This Spring from Pernod Ricard!

New & exciting things are being launched on the market from one of our favorite suppliers: Pernod Ricard!
You are probably very familiar with Pernod Ricard's portfolio but may not even realize it; some of their most popular brands include Absolut Vodka, Jameson Irish Whiskey, The Glenlivet Scotch, Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, Malibu Rum, and many more! We've got the inside scoop on new product launches coming to you soon!
ABSOLUT JUICE EDITIONS
If you haven't gotten your hands on the newest from Absolut, the Juice Editions, run-don't-walk to your nearest liquor store. What makes them different from their flavored vodkas is that they're made with 5% juice, giving them a pretty colored hue and natural taste. Our favorite way to enjoy is their Spritz, which can be batched in a pitcher for entertaining a group, or portion it out as you go:
1 part Absolut Juice of your choice
1 part Campo Viejo Brut Cava (or other sparkling wine)
1 part Club Soda
Garnish with appropriate fruit (strawberries or green apples)
Take it from Lizzo
if you don't trust us. The Absolut Juice Editions also make a great Mule, if you're looking for little more zip in your cocktail.
Anyway... Strawberry and Apple are getting a new little brother... Pear & Elderflower! It's like the gender reveal party you ACTUALLY want to see.
Absolut Juice Pear & Elderflower Edition is juicy, fruity, and rich yet sweet. Best with club soda, and only 96 calories per cocktail. It checks all the boxes in the Better-For-You category. Lower ABV and nothing artificial about them, it's going to become a new go-to for your bar.
We're also hearing rumors that they're expanding their Absolut to include Canned Juice Editions!
MALIBU RUM
We know you love Malibu Rum: the glorious combination of Caribbean Rum with Coconut Liqueur. For those of you feeling the winter blues, transcend back into summer with the newest from Malibu: Malibu Strawberry! We're amazed by the versatility of cocktails you can create with this sweet & flavorful rum. Of course there's the classic Strawberry Daiquiri (frozen or on the rocks), but also try it as a twist on your favorite cocktails: Strawberry Mojito, Strawberry Bay Breeze, Strawberry Spritz, Strawberry Lemonade, or mixed with coconut water for a refreshing and health-conscious treat.
Hart Agency's In-House Mixologist Jake recommends a Strawberry Cobbler:
Muddle fresh strawberries & basil in a Collins glass, add ice, top with 1 ounce Malibu Strawberry & 3 ounces Campo Viejo Cava Brut or Rose. Use a swizzle stick to pull up the fruit & flavor of the fruit that's on the bottom. Enjoy!
JAMESON IRISH WHISKEY
Brought to you by the people who make best Irish Whiskey on the planet, look out for the newest on your watering hole's back bar: Jameson Cold Brew! Introducing the self proclaimed "Coffee Lovers' Whiskey", this tastes like the Jameson you know & love; combined with the rich, nutty taste of coffee. It's not necessarily what you'd expect - if you're thinking you're going to get an Irish Coffee in a bottle, think again. This tastes like whiskey but with a complex yet smooth finish of coffee without being overpowering. So yes, we agree: this is definitely the Coffee Lovers' Whiskey. Get it while you can - it's a Limited Edition release so you'll want to stock up. Be sure to get enough for next month's Paddy's Day celebration and an extra bottle or two to spare.
Best to enjoy on the rocks, with cola, or as a Brew-tini: Combine 2 parts Jameson Cold Brew, 1 part cold brew coffee, and 1/2 part simple syrup into a shaker with ice. Shake & strain into a martini glass with 3 coffee beans for garnish. It's the perfect alternative to an espresso martini without the hassle of actually brewing something!
NATIONAL KAHLUA DAY
In case you don't know, today (February 27th) is National Kahlua Day! Dudes everywhere rejoice by celebrating with a classic White Russian - 1 Part Kahlua, 1 Part Absolut Vodka, & 1 Part Heavy Cream.

What is Tequila? Tequila is a distilled spirit and a type of mezcal. The liquor is made from agave plants and produced only in specific parts of Mexico. Depending on where the agave is grown, the taste of tequila can vary by the bottle. Similar to the way whiskey can be broken down into more specific categories like bourbon and scotch, tequila can be broken down as well. There are three main types of tequila—blanco (silver, unaged), reposado (aged for 2 to 9 months in wood barrels), and añejo (aged for a minimum of 1 year in wood barrels).
