Racial Equality: A Letter from Hart Agency President, Keith Hart

At a time when conversations surrounding equality and systematic change are at a high point in our country, Hart Agency reiterates its zero tolerance of racism in a letter from Owner & President, Keith Hart.

The murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd have reignited the anger and sadness our country feels toward the injustice felt by the Black Community, as well as people of color in general. We recognize this as an incredible movement, and look forward to the learning it provides. We are using this time to reiterate Hart Agency's Values to our customers and team members.
Company Goals, Values & Beliefs

A Letter from the President:
Good Afternoon,
During recent events, protests over police brutality and other injustices against people of color have broken out in hundreds of cities in the US and internationally. The Hart Agency continues to stand for racial equality and will always have a zero tolerance for racism in the workplace. The bottom line is all forms of racism and discrimination must be eradicated.
Our workforce of more than 900 team members is a reflection of the diverse communities that we do promotions with across New York state. Growing up in a community filled with diversity (Bayside, Queens) I have recognized there were and still are many racial injustices that are faced by people of color everyday, and had always done what I could to fight against it. I recognize that there are real fears that the Black Community face daily and that they have been ignored by many in society for too long. The Hart Agency understands that under the surface, there are strong feelings of fear, frustration, mistrust, and hurt within; but please know that your Hart Family is listening, we value all our employees, and want you to know we stand with you.
We are committed to promoting not only products but a culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and workplace equity. A culture where every team member is treated with dignity and respect. A culture where every team member feels welcomed, valued, and heard. We live our mission and our values. Real Talk
Although Hart Agency's Values have always aligned with equality and diversity, we realize there is more work to do. We need to communicate to address the issues and promote change. We welcome our staff to bring up concerns they feel and any suggestions on how we can better support them and grow. We commit to having hard conversations with ourselves in an effort to self-reflect and move forward towards lasting change.
